Workshop Cancellation Policy

Requests to cancel an International Insect Centre Workshop must be sent via email to events@insectcentre.com, stating “Cancelation for workshop” in the subject. All requests must be received prior to the start date of the workshop.

  • Cancellation requests emailed on or before the listed site workshop enrolment deadline will be charged a € 50,- processing fee.
  • Cancellation requests emailed after the listed site enrolment deadline are charged 50% of the original workshop fee.
  • Cancellation requests emailed within 24 hours prior to the date of the workshop will not be honoured, and no money will be refunded.

Inclement Weather and Extraordinary Circumstances Policy

If traveling may be hazardous the day of the workshop, please use your own judgment when deciding to attend. Those who cannot attend a workshop because of inclement weather or other extraordinary circumstances should contact the International Insect Centre and refund decisions will be made on an individual basis.
The Insect Centre is not responsible for expenses incurred beyond the enrolment fees.

Housing and Local Transportation

Information regarding housing and local transportation will be provided. We recommend you refrain from making any travel or hotel reservations until
the Insect Centre has confirmed that the workshop has enough registered participants to run the workshop. The Insect Centre is not responsible for travel or hotel expenses.

Workshop Cancellation

Workshops may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the scheduled workshop session. When a workshop is cancelled, candidates will be notified immediately and will receive a complete refund of all workshop fees Refunds.
The Insect Centre is not responsible for expenses incurred beyond the enrolment fees.
